The Government of India has notified rules under Environment Protection Act making it mandatory for hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, blood banks and pathology centers to treat their medical waste before disposal. This has opened a large opportunity window for Health-care / Hospital & Medical Equipments to be deployed to meet our quest.

The older methods for treating bio-medical waste were exclusively through incineration or steam disinfection. However, medical waste generated now, has high plastic content, which when incinerated, causes toxic emissions, thus creating ecological problems. Additionally the inability of the steam to penetrate all parts of the waste and high-energy costs make steam disinfection method unviable. The recent introduction of the MICROWAVE technology to supplement and augment older methods has overcome these problems.

In the light of this, the company is all set to tap the huge potential and make rapid strides in the near future. In meeting the potential, we have tied up with world leaders Meteka GmbH, Austria for Microwave Disinfection Devices.
